The last home as free people

In 1937 Georg and Marion, who remained in Hamburg, move again, this time back to their neighbourhood, Eimsbüttel.

Unfortunately, the building in which they lived was destroyed and no longer exists.

The apartment is on Kloster allee on the second floor, and here began the family to feel the new era of Nazi Germany, and Nazi Hamburg.
They were forbidden from work and study in non-Jewish places.

Marion began working as a publicist and designer at Robinson Neuer Wall department store.

In this house live Georg and Marion, and there they witness the horrible events of the Program night – Kristallnacht – on that in the next post.
